On the morning of October 17, 2025, keo nha cai hom nay An Transport and Stevedoring Joint Stock Company (HAH) officially took successful delivery of its 18th container vessel, named HAIAN IRIS.
This marks an important milestone in keo nha cai hom nay An’s strategy to expand its fleet capacity, enhance transportation efficiency, and strengthen its position in the regional container shipping market.

The vessel HAIAN IRIS, formerly named Optima, was built in 2011 by Kyokuyo Shipbuilding, Japan.

Upon completion of the handover, the vessel will be reflagged to Vietnam and classed under dual classification societies – NK (Japan) and VR (Vietnam Register), and will be operated directly by keo nha cai hom nay An.
With the addition of HAIAN IRIS, keo nha cai hom nay An’s fleet now totals 18 vessels, ranging from 800 TEU to 3,500 TEU, with a combined capacity of approximately 29,300 TEU.

This expansion reaffirms keo nha cai hom nay An’s leading position as the largest and youngest container fleet owner in Vietnam, and places the company among the world’s Top 100 container carriers – ranking 68th globally, according to Alphaliner (as of October 17, 2025).
According to the company’s deployment plan, HAIAN IRIS will commence her maiden service on October 22, 2025, operating on the keo nha cai hom nay Phong – Lianyungang (China) route.
The deployment of this vessel will further enhance trade connectivity between Vietnam and China, while strengthening keo nha cai hom nay An’s operational capacity across its intra-Asia service network.
